Requirements
- Possession of first degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) or/and second
degree or currently on postgraduate program in relevant field of study.
- List or presentation of evidence of research experience/skills.
- Capability to carryout independent research work with minimum supervision.
- Submission of statement of motivation (not more than a page).
- Submission of signed application form by the applicant

Full-fledged membership
Requirements
The candidate must:
- be of good characters.
- possess PhD, and be a worker of a recognized higher institution, research institute or industry.
- submit statement of motivation (include knowledge about nanotechnology/relevance of expertise to
the focus of research group).
- give a 10-minute talk on a nanotechnology related topic as part of assessment for membership.
- submit list of 10 most important and recent publications.
- submit signed application form.
NOTE:
- Successful candidates to be offered provisional membership for six (6) months in the first instance
- The application form must be submitted within four (4) weeks of its collection
